So... What will happen if you feed your laptop with milk and cereal?

- Intel Pentium M Processor 730 --> Intel® Core Duo processor T2300
- Graphics by nVIDIA to Graphics by ATI® Mobility Radeon X1400
- 60GB Hard disk increased to 100GB 5400rpm SATA HDD
- DVD combo transformed into Slot-load DVD-Super Multi double layer
- stationary 1.3 Mega pixel build-in webcam become "turnable" at 225o
- "Growth" of bluetooth (2.0+EDR)

*slap slap* DREAM ON!

Hold on! I'm not done yet!

- ASUS Z9200VC transformed into Acer Aspire 5672WLMi

*sigh*

That is the consequence of eating cereal and milk in front of my laptop, not forgetting to feed some to it too!! It has been sick since then and has been in coma for 4 days already...

*pray*

Hope my baby is fine...

Alone in City

Alone in City late at night. Am I crazy? Do you know how far it is from the City to Callaghan? Definitely not walking distance. Being alone in City isn't a big deal actually, the problem is how to get home if you missed the bus??

Right after Ian Frazer's talk on cervical cancer, Hock Luck disappeared into nowhere while Michelle was telling me that she thought of taking photo with Ian Frazer. Both of us thought Hock Luck went to the toilet, therefore we were waiting for him somewhere near the gents. We suddenly realised something wasn't right. So, I called him only found out that he has already left the Hall to the bus stop, waiting for bus 226. I was kinda worry for not catching the bus too, but Michelle persuaded me by telling me that there is bus 101 right after 226 (which means its fine for me to miss the 226 bus). Alright then, I waited with her at the Concert Hall for Ian Frazer. Nevertheless, he was talking to someone else and therefore we've gotta wait. I was getting worried, afraid that I would miss 101 as well. Thus, without taking a photo with him, I left in a rush. I hurried to the bus stop and saw a bus just drove off. I was actually thinking it won't be my bus since I was 5 mins before the time that bus 101 was suppose to arrive. Just then, something hits me eyes. It was stated at the back of the bus ~ *101*! What!?! Did I just miss it? I was pretty calm. I knew there was bus 104 coming at the same time. 5 minutes passed, the bus did not arrive. Oh no! Don't tell me bus 104 arrived early as well? I felt very paranoid. Without even thinking of checking when the next bus was arriving, tears filled my eyes. I called HL straight, "Hey, I missed the bus..." and burst into tears. Well, he thought I meant 226 I think, so he laughed (I'm sure I heard him saying, "I'm on the bus now, haha!").
"No no no! I missed bus 101."
"Har?"
"What to do now? I missed 101... the bus just drove off right in front of my eyes!"
"When's the next bus then?"
OMG! Why didn't I think if that!?!?!
"Hold on, let me check. *sniff sniff* err... 8.53pm."
"Har? Impossible to be so long."
"Wait! 8.53pm is 101, 8.44pm (or was it 8.39pm can't remember actually, around that figure.) is 226."
"Oh.. then you have to wait for another hour."
I was totally freaked out.
"Why don't you go take a seat at subway and wait for the bus or to the city hall?"
I couldn't speak at that time. I just didn't know what to do. Whatever he said was like going in my head, echo-ing.
"Try call Michelle, maybe she and her friends are still somewhere near."
"Right then, I'll call her now, bye."

*ring ring....* 1st trial, went into voice mail.
*ring ring....* 2nd trial, went into voice mail again.

*ring ring....*
"HL!! *cries* Michelle isn't picking up the phone, what to do?"
"xxxxxxxxxxxx" I was crying at that time and couldn't get what he was trying to say.
"Cindy, take train. Check when's the next train."
OMG! Why am I so dumb!?! Train? This is a good idea. I digged into my bag, flipping the Hunter line timetable around, telling him the next train is at 7.56pm.
"OMG! What's the time now? What's the time on your watch now?"
"erm.. 7.56pm."
*faint*
I rushed to the train station and simply bought a ticket to Warabrook. I wasn't even thinking alright. I didn't care if I've missed the train or not and just bought a ticket. Just then a train arrived - the double decker one. Without thinking, I just hopped on.
"I'm on the train now, but I'm not sure whether I'm on the right one or not."
OMG! NOW, I think I was soooo stupid! Simply hop onto a train without knowing whether it was gonna take me to the correct direction.
"Asked someone!"
"There is no one. I'm on the train now but there is NOBODY!!"
"Sure got the train director right?"
"He is outside the train, and the train has already left the station."
Without blinking my eyes, I peeped outside the window checking the next stop.
"I saw Wickham, I'm on the right train. But I think I gotta interchange to the small train since double decker train is to Sydney."
"Are you sure you will stop at Hamilton?"
Just then, the train started slowing down.
"Erm.. I think I'm reaching Hamilton, the train started slowing down."
Yup, it did and I hopped off.
"Ask the train director whether that train leads to Warabrook."
And I did. However, he said no. Checking on the train schedule, there should be a train at 8.01pm but the man told me there wasn't any 8.01pm train.
NOOOO!! I calm myself down a bit and search through the schedule.
"Oh... the next train is at 8.34pm."
"Ok, are there any people around?"
"Yup yup, quite a few of them. I think I'll be fine."
"Yea, should be fine. Call me later then."
"Ok bye."
Even though I know I can get home, I was petrified. Tears couldn't stop rolling down my cheeks. I kept on praying, "Train please come fast! Please..." Nervous me couldn't stop staring at the railway track and the clock. 20 minutes passed, the train has not arrived. 25 minutes passed, of course the train has not arrived (not time yet maR) but a phone call "arrived".
"Has the train arrived?"
"err.. not yet."
"When you reach Warabrook station, call security shuttle to fetch you back."
"Ok. Do you have the number?"
"Remember call security shuttle."
"Ya, do you have the number?"
"Number? No. Ask Jess and see."
"Ok ok.. I'll call her now."
"Miss call when reach home."
"Right, bye."

*ring ring....*
Gosh, Jess not picking up phone!
"Hello~"
"Hello~" Eh! Tian Mun's voice.
"Er.. do you have the Security Shuttle's Number?"
"15888."
"That's extension right? Is there other number?"
"erm.. let me check. No wor..."
"In that case can you help me call security shuttle from Warabrook to Bara at 8.40pm?"
"Ok~"
"Thx ya.."

So, I waited for another 10 minutes before the train arrived. I hopped on and quickly took a seat very close to the exit. No long after I reached Warabrook station, I received another call from Tian Mun saying that the Security Shuttle is not around at the moment and might take 1 hour to reach there.
"Ok then. It's alright. Can you call them and tell them that I'll just walk back alone? I'll be fine!" (I wasn't thinking at all. I just wanna get back home asap.)
"You sure? Right then."

While walking down the road from the station, a car stopped right next to me. I was shocked.
The man asked, "Are you going to Bara? Did your friend just called?"
"I nodded my head."
"Get on, we'll send you back."
I was actually very cautious before getting on. (Since Tian Mun has already told me that the Security shuttle was not free). I checked the car first. Hmm.. It was the security shuttle. I check the guys on the car too. Hmm.. wearing security guard uniform. Most important of all, he was able to state where I was going and who called. So, I hopped on and reached home safely.
Of course I did miss call - both Michelle and Hock Luck. Missing call or miss calling is our "custom" to tell the person that you have already reached home safely and I did.

Now I've already reached home safely. Thinking back how I reacted, I was really dumb. What was wrong if I waited for another hour for the bus at Subway? I could simply grab a bite and chill there! What was there for me to make such a big fuss for not getting on the bus if there's the next bus? What was so scary about being alone in the city if I knew I could get home by bus, train or cab? What was there for me to cry? What was there for me to call up the innocent people for help and trouble them? Next time, there won't be a next time but if there was, I will not react like what I did today. It's my first time afterall. I'll take it as gaining experience. 雖然說現在有點手腳發軟,精神恍惚的徵兆...

Gratitudes
Hock Luck - For giving me suggestions and keeping me accompany on the phone all this while.
Tian Mun - For calling the Security Service and decided to come get me when she heard the security shuttle was not able to come fetch me.
Shook Hui - For coming to Warabrook station to get me as well.
Security Service - For sending me home safely.
Jesselyn's HP - which allows me to get to TM when the owner herself was bathing.
My HP - which allows me to get to many people. Thankfully, the battery didn't die off (almost tho).

PS. Why did I see there was a train at 8.01pm? The answer was - I was looking at the wrong time table! How foolish of me!

Will you hold my hands till I'm old?

Saw two elderly couples on the bus today. Both couples got on the bus from different stops and got off at different stops. Right, I'll narrate them as Couple A and Couple B. Couple A was already on the bus when we got on. It just so happened that there were free seats behind them and so I sat there. This couple was sitting side by side on the seats even it was quite cramped for them. I was in fact quite touched when I saw that. Thinking, "If I had a husband who can hold my hands till I'm old, how lucky will I be?" After the husband pressed the stop bell, I was expecting the husband to hold the wife's hand while they got off. To my disappointment, this husband got off himself, leaving the wife, who can bearly walk, alone walking slowly off the bus. I kept on observing until the bus drove off. I saw what I least expected. The husband left the wife behind, rushing into a house while the poor wife followed step by step behind. Imagine, how can she catch up at that rate?

Couple B got on after we did. After Couple A's incidence, I intentionally observed Couple B. Both of them were sitting on different seats on the first row, as if they are not related at all. However, something interesting hits my eyes when they were about to get off. The husband held onto the bar and waited for the wife. Although he did not hold her hands, he kept an eye on her always. He would turn around to make sure she was fine. Once again, I expected the "holding hands" part which did not happen. Well, at least he was walking side by side with her all the time.

Canberra Trip (Volume 3)

This day is also our last day in Canberra. I was quite reluctant to go back honestly. Early morning, we woke up at 7.30am to get ready. The breakfast was served at 8.00am as usual and we will be getting pancakes! After packing up, Jess and I went up to the dining hall and started scooping our food! There weren't many people as I guess those who went clubbing the previous night must be suffering from hang over! Thinking that lunch was not provided on this day, I must eat alot for breakfast. So, I had 4 slices of toast, 5 and a half pieces of pancake (the half piece was from Jesselyn) and 3 glasses of orange juice.

Our schedule was delayed as many other people couldn't get up on time. Meanwhile, we took a couple of photos outside the lodge, continued a few games on Foosball and not to forget, CHINESE CHECKERS!!

Chinese Checkers

Peach Tree outside the Lodge

Photo taken "under" the bus... Look at Jesselyn's Expression

To make it fair, I have to upload this weird expression of Cindy's

When everyone was ready, we set off to our first destination which was the Parliament House. There was a guide guiding us through and of course, the urge of taking photos just wouldn't get away. The parliament house is huge and the scenery viewed from the roof top was awesome!

Inside Parliament House

The main intention of taking this photo is to capture Chris behind them (Right Jess?)

Once again, the main intention of taking this photo was not on Cindy

War Memorial Museum was our "final destination". XD!! Don't look down on this small building, it is actually very spacious on the inside and alot of things to look at! More than the National Museum!

Nope, that's not just all! We have much much more photos with us, anyone interested can always tell me and I'll show them to him/her. This concludes our Canberra trip. Before I end, another photo has to be uploaded. Jesselyn's 2nd KFC meal in Australia. As for the group photo, I will upload it when Chris sends it to us.

Canberra Trip (Volume 2)

The schedule was packed on the 2nd day. Breakfast was at 8am and it's included in the trip. There wasn't much variety but I won't complain about it too. There was cereals, toast, spaghetti, baked beans, hashbrown... Had 4 slices of toast with butter, marmarlade and jam, 2 scoops of spaghetti, 1 scoop of baked beans, 3 slices of hashbrown, 3 cups of orange juice (1 was from Jess actually), hoping it would last until noon. I'm sure it would 'coz I don't usually eat so much for breakfast.

Floriade was the first stop. This is a Spring festival which last for 6 weeks if I'm not mistaken. Flowers bloom during spring and everything was simply awesome. Chris (the president of U.N.D.I.E.S) gave us 3 hours to wander around. The scent of the flower, the breeze, the sun, the clouds, the blue sky~ It's just like heaven!

Floriade - Those are real flowers!

Cindy & Jesselyn - That was when my camera battery went dead
Yellow Stars
Isn't this cute?
Back Home~ Malaysia

Picked out a few nice photos - This was what I meant by awesome flowers!

Lunch lunch lunch! Most of their stomach has already started growling by the end of the walk. As for me, I still feel bloated since I had so much for breakfast. We had our BBQ lunch in the Canberra-Nara Park. The view was once again SUPERB! I love it so much~ We did not have to set our own fire or BBQ by ourselves. Everything was settled by the U.N.D.I.E.S once we reached the park. What we did was just laze around, chill under the shade, waiting for the food. But we DID help to eat! XD!!

Gate of Friendship

Heh! Are you guys jealous of us? Isn't the scenery fantastic? Next, the next stop was the National Museum. On the way there, we passed by many Embassy. This includes the Chinese, German, Japanese, Thai, Greek, British, US, Malaysian and etc! Each of the building has its "taste of culture".

The Chinese Embassy
US embassy
Malaysian Embassy

Thai Embassy

National Museum... It was quite disappointing for me as there was not much to see. The Museum was huge, yet quite empty... The only special or apparent object was the roller coaster like decoration.

Of course, since there wasn't much to see, we did not stay long. The next destination was the Telecom Tower... The admission was AUD6 per person, but the ticket was included in our trip as well. So basically, we did not pay anything extra. It was 195.2m in height but comparing to "our" KL tower or KLCC, its just a shortie anyway.

What's next? The bus driver brought us back to the hostel. This resting time was "designed for" those caucasians who did not sleep well the previous night, most probably hang over and stuff. While chilling in the hostel, Jess and I started with the foosball. Kimberly and the professor from Bhutan joined too! It was Red vs Blue and we have been changing teams each round. We came to a conclusion that whoever teams up with professor loses, which is very true. =p I was contradicting myself by saying "Blue colour of Glory" when I was in the Blue team but then wanting to proof "Red colour of Glory" when in the Red team. All of our hands ache at the end of the game. That was terrible. I couldn't even push the door knob or even hold a cup on my right hand. It was fun though! Soon it was time for dinner. The dinner was held in a bar. Weird isn't it? Dinner in a bar, but yea. We've gotten 3 choices - Pasta, Fish & Chips and Chicken Schnitzel. The dinner was of course included in the AUD150 we've paid for the trip. Jess ordered chicken while I ordered Fish. Moreover, we get to have this wristband around our wrist as our "voucher" to get drinks with only AUD1!! Jesselyn ordered 2 bottles of Bacardi straight away saying, "This is SO cheap!!" She gave me one to try and I did. There, I gave my first time to Jesselyn. In the end I bought a glass of lemonade instead as I didn't like the taste of the lime flavoured Bacardi. It wasn't too bad I must say, but I'm just not used to it. Soon the food arrived. Everyone was starving. It seemed that our food was calling, "Eat me! Eat me!" My stomach just can't tolerate the temptation and started growling as if it was saying, "I wanna eat you and I will eat you!" Everyone showed a satisfied expression after consuming the meal but not Jess and I. Both of us agreed on the food was nice but not THAT nice. I was also quite shy to say I was still hungry when everyone felt full after the meal. XD!! Right after the meal, we did not want to stay for their so-called "happy hour" and therefore we went back to our accomodation by cab. Guess what? The cab we took was just like an ambulance! (That driver was a Malaysian!!)

The wristband that allows us to buy drinks for AUD1 only!

When we reached the hostel, we had a few games of foosball before Kimberly, our roommate taught us how to play pool - how to arrange the balls, most of the rules and so on. Another first time given to Jess. We had our first match against each other and what should I say? Jess is so PRO! I nearly lost to her but I beat her in the end by luck. Ok, this shall conclude the 2nd day...
