Have you ever felt so tired that you feel like sleeping until the end of your life? I finally understand the description of "tuo zhe pi bei de bu fa" (This pc I'm using doesn't support chinese character input)!!

I have been going into the lab everyday including weekends. I have been infecting mice with bacteria. I have been taking lives away from mice. I have been ripping the lungs out of the mice. I have been staying up in the lab until midnight. I have been eating out for lunch and dinner for the past few days. I have been sleeping for less than 3 hours a day. I have been helping HL with his experiments. I have been doing so many stuff that I don't even know how I could list them all out...

I felt so tired that I'm having trouble lifting up my legs to walk. I felt so tired (+ dried eyes) that I was literally walking with my eyes closed in the middle of the road. I felt so tired that I lost the sense of vision and hearing for a couple minutes. I felt so tired that I don't even bother to scream and jump when I saw lizards and cockroaches crawling across my feet. I felt so tired that I couldn't walk straight. I felt so tired that I couldn't even detect a car driving pass me. I felt so tired that I don't even bother to look left-and-right before I cross the road (I'm so gonna get myself killed)! I feel so tired that...

I am so sick of taking lives away from mice. I am so sick of watching mice die. I am so sick of staying in the lab for long hours yet getting crappy results. I am so sick of walking 40 minutes back home after long hours of lab work. I am so sick of having problems with mice orders. I am so sick of people not doing their job properly which affects my experiment. I am so sick of experiment plans being interrupted. I am so sick of the MHV outbreak in the animal house. I am so sick of myself being jinxed. I am so sick of me being me. I am so sick of...

I am so gonna take a day off tomorrow. I am so gonna sleep through the whole day. I am so gonna pamper myself with whatsoever therapy I have. I am so gonna have a good dinner tonight.

I am just so grumpy and cranky now!

Who's more disgusting?

I know many people have read this before...

The following scene took place on a BA flight between Johannesburg and London. Is this a true story? I heard that it is and it worths your time reading.

A White woman, about 50 years old, was seated next to a Black man. Obviously disturbed by this, she called the air stewardess.

"Madam, what is the matter?" the stewardess asked.
"You obviously do not see it then?" she responded. "You placed me next to a Black man. I do not agree to sit next to someone from such a repugnant group. Give me an alternative seat."
"Be calm please, the stewardess replied. "Almost all the seats on this flight are taken. I will go to see if another seat is available."

The stewardess went away and came back a few minutes later.
"Madam, just as I thought, there are no other available seats in Economy class. I spoke to the Captain and he informed me that there are also no seats in the Business class. All the same, we still have one seat in First class."

Before the woman could reply, the stewardess continued: "It is unusual for our company to permit someone from Economy class to sit in First class. However, given the circumstances, the Captain feels that it would be scandalous to make someone sit next to someone so disgusting."She turned to the Black man and said, "Therefore, Sir, if you would like to, please collect your hand luggage, a seat awaits you in First class."

At that moment, the other passengers who were shocked by what they had just witnessed stood up and applauded.

Urgh! That white woman is disgusting indeed! What makes her think that white is more superior than the others? God made us, and we are all equal! Picking on people by their skin colour is just plain disgusting!

Call me lazy... or NOT!

I know I haven't been blogging for the past 2 or 3 weeks? I have my reasons...

Passer-by A: Yeah yeah, you're just plain lazy!
Me: What? You call me lazy? Hello? Excuse me?

Ok fine... I admit that I felt a bit tired of blogging especially without photos in my currently used computer... Why is that so? Did you ask?
I'm using my office computer. You know, this computer I'm using processes on pentium 4 with limited USB ports; big and heavy not-LCD-kind-of-monitor; connected to an old microsoft non-optical aka ball-rolling mouse.

Why are you not using your own laptop? Did you spill milk over the laptop again?

It's because... because... because... I have no internet at home!!!
And that's not the sole reason. I have been really really busy lately. Honours have started, I have to sort out my experiment, read up papers for literature review, plan my project, label tubes, thousands and thousands of tubes, label slides, thousands and thousands of slides, learn new techniques, sort out my mice orders... That's not all! Being a nice friend *cough cough*, I volunteered to help HL with his hectic experiments these few days. We have been staying OverTime in the lab doing experiment! That's too bad that we don't get paid for this! Instead, we are paying to do these stuff! Imagine that I am a very bad and selfish person (passerby B: Yes you are! Me: Shut up!) who refused to help. Then I guess HL has to camp in the lab for 5 days, or 3 days at least! I'm starting my experimental model this weekend... GAMSAT is next week...
So, dare you call me lazy again! I'm not lazy, I'm just busy!
