Life as a student in Newcastle

It has been raining for the past few days including today. Gotta wake up early for our blood test. Jesselyn and I registered under 8am, which means I have to wake up before 7. You know, Cindy is always a slow coach in getting ready. We were told to fast before the test... Imagine nothing goes into my poor little tummy after 8pm. That means we haven't eaten for 12 hours. So, there we go. Under the heavy, yet not so heavy rain; accompanied by strong, yet not so strong wind... Freezing cold you may say.

Skirt? Yea, I wore skirt today. First time wearing skirt to lectures. What could I do? It has been raining and there are puddles everywhere. Pants soak water from the puddles! I've experienced that last week when the rain and wind was much much heavier and stronger than today. My pants were soaking wet until knee level. Moreover, the wind seemed to be blowing through my pants, through my bones. I thought I was gonna get frostbite any moment. It is weird to say that wearing skirt prevents frostbite? Don't get me wrong. It is not the physical barrier around my leg that matters. It was the water and wind that made me feel cold on my leg. Therefore, if skirt did not soak any water, which it did not today, my leg won't be able to feel the coldness. Gosh! What kinda crap am I talking about? Anyway, you'll know the difference in wearing pants and skirt during rainy days if you experienced what I did.

Back to blood test... according to the person who "transfuse" (? was that the proper word to use?) our blood, it was only 2 table spoon. It took ages for my blood to "come out" (??? dang! My English Vocab is poor), in other words, it was difficult for the blood to be "taken out" from my veins at the Cubital Fossa! (Muahahahaha!! Err.. actually I can't remember the name of the vein) Close to the end of the process, I felt something wrong. I couldn't see, couldn't hear. It was like the whole world turning black and what I could hear was some sound waves in whatsoever frequency. This is when I notice that "I feel faint"! Took me 5 minutes to regain myself. Drinking water really helps!! Jesselyn was laughing at me at the beginning, but then she noticed herself losing sense of hearing. Yea, one of the symptoms feeling faint. That's when both of us sat down and rested while the other 4 - Tian Mun, Shook Hui, Sein Hon and Willian, were doing theirs. In fact we didn't literally sat down and rest. We were busy-bodies. Visualised the whole process while the others were doing theirs.

Next, I've gotta talk about this Hock Luck. I don't know whether I should call him "cute" HL or "lame" HL... It started with Brendon telling Jesselyn that he saw "our" friend, referring to HL. Then, Jesselyn then told me to find HL because he was alone. Of course I did. I'm so nice! So, I walked? ran? out of the library to the bicycle shelter where Brendon saw him. But he was nowhere to be found. Gosh! I cannot believe that I was actually worried! Where on earth has he been? Ran back to the library only realised that Jesselyn and Brendon were GONE too! Called Jesselyn and she said she was in the library. "SOMEWHERE in the library." (Didn't wanna tell me where she was. =.=") Ran up and down the library like mad, yet couldn't find her. Nevermind, so I continue search for HL.
"HL, HL... where have you been?" Like mother finding kid. =.="
O_O! Suddenly saw a familiar figure. HL!!! It's good to find him. At least know he's sound and safe. XD!! Guess how cute he was...
"I went to shortland union and ordered my food, only realised that I didn't bring wallet. Called everyone, no one answered my call."
LoL!! Next time call me maR... Oops, I was on the phone actually. =p
Then he started his lameness...
"So, I told the lady to put my food 'on hold'..."
*Ta-Da* 有沒有一種被打敗的感覺? *faint*
Yup, so I did lend him the money. While paying, he realised that he didn't have UNU card... Luckily I was sitting kinda near to the cashier, he turned to me and asked, "Do you have UNU card?" XD!!
That's all for the food part. Next was the borrowing book part.
We gotta use our student ID to borrow books, so what can he do?
"Can you borrow this book under your name?"

Hock Luck ah Hock Luck! Name really makes a difference. You always have your luck. 出門都會遇上貴人! Today, I'm your 貴人.. XD!!
