I have dreams. All girls do. I'm sure that most girls DO have more or less the same dreams on their "Mr Right". Received an e-mail from Xin Yeng, regarding how girls would like their other halves to treat them. I do not agree with every single ones but... anyway, just read on!

--> hmm... not really

--> sounds more like movie scene, not really dreaming of this anyway

Honestly, some above are REALLY NOT PRACTICAL!!
It's more likely to happen in movies, so I don't really have high hopes in those. However, that "10 things I want in a guy"...
Wen Ya said I asked for too much. Even if I don't mind physical appearance, my "perfect guy" is just TOO PERFECT to exist.
I want to add another criteria for my guy. "Common interest" & "Age difference".
Come on, how can I stand a guy who talks to me about politics? laws? which I totally have no idea what that's all about. Obviously we need a common interest, so we will have common topic to talk about!!
Age difference is set to 0 year ~ +6 years of my age. (In fact, I cannot stand a guy who's younger than me to be my ONE)
I should not give any comments because when love comes, nothing can stop it. Age probably won't be an important factor. Maybe my perfect ONE will be 10 years younger than me or 20 years older than me. Who knows? Nevertheless, at this point, I disagree with dating a guy younger or too much older than me.

一個浪漫的故事高雄小港機場上的時鐘，顯示著差六分就五點鐘，高大的男孩，從計程車上跳下，就一路從門口走來，抬起黝黑的臉，瞇著眼看著時間。他的心，跳動著自己都很吃驚，因為無法控制。再過六分鐘，他就要見到一個特別的女人。他從未見過她，但在過去七個月裡，佔有最重要的地位。他盡量靠近旅客走出來的地方，希望能夠一眼就認出她。他還記得在研究室趕報告的夜晚，身邊被報表紙包圍，滿腦子數據,雙腿累的無法走出去吃碗麵，不過，仍然坐在電腦面前，將現在煩躁的心境，寫Email告訴她。



很快，就收到她的Reply了：「希望你能乖乖地去吃些東西，保持健康身體，考完後, 才有的心情，帶我看看南部的夕陽。」他窩心的繼續趕報告，知道遠方有個女孩，正為他熬夜而緊張。轉眼，焦急的心情，一整夜都不再出現。今天這一天，終於來臨，差四分五點，真的要帶她去看夕陽，他不安的四處張望。諾大的機場，匆忙的旅客到處走來走去，一個女孩走過他的面前，長長的頭髮，綠的墨鏡，斜插在胸前，他盯著她看，不是約好的眼鏡樣式，而且她太年輕了。大約十八歲而已，而曉月卻告訴他，她已經是個很成熟很老的女人了。那又怎樣，「我已經快三十了」他騙曉月，其實他才剛過二十歲生日。

　

他的心思又回到那天晚上 ，在雲技的Talk板上，看到一個署名「小鬼，別Paging我，大姐會生氣」的標題，一向好強的他，就呼叫過去了。想不到曉月竟然回覆，而且,開始長達七個月Email往返。這段時間以來，一直不斷的Email來往，還特地去申請令人反感的Hinet,為的就是回家以後，能繼續收到她的信。有的時候電腦當機，很久都無法上線，可是她仍然寫信給他，所以他認為倆人是相愛的。儘管不斷向她要照片，總是一次又一次的拒絕，感覺實在令他很不舒服，不過，她解釋：「假如你對我的感情是真的，我長得如何並不重要。假使我長得漂亮，我會以為你因外貌而愛我，那樣的愛，當然我不想要。假如我長得不怎麼樣（你必須承認這點比較可能），我會害怕你只是打電腦無聊，別無選擇才跟我通信，不要要求看我的照片，將來我南下找你，就可看到我，到時你可以自己決定，見面之後，自由選擇要不要繼續下???」

　

還有一分鐘五點，他緊張的抽起一根煙。這時，他的心，比毀滅戰士最末一關還要緊張。一個年輕女子向他走來，雙腿修長高眺，長長的秀髮，紮成馬尾躺在小巧的耳後，明亮的雙眸，秀麗而彎彎的眉毛，溫柔的雙唇，美麗的安置在勻稱的鵝蛋臉上。身穿淺白色T恤，像世界上最美好的春光。他開始向她走去，完全忘記去注意她根本沒戴太陽眼鏡。女子看到他，雙眉揚起，嘴角輕輕嘟起，做了一個挑逗而吃驚的俏皮表情。「一起叫車怎樣？我到漢神百貨」她輕聲地說。他無法再自制靠近她，因為他看到了曉月。

　

她站在女孩後面走來，少說也有三四十。她不僅豐腴，皺折的衣服，凌亂的頭髮，兩根粗腿，還撐著一雙老氣高跟鞋，完全看不出時髦的樣子，倒挺剛像生過孩子的媽。不過，她額頭上，卻頂著一支CK眼鏡。穿T恤的女孩迅速走開。他希望自己分裂為二，一來能夠與白色T恤女孩共乘，卻又希望與曉月見面。她的靈魂一直陪伴他，鼓舞他，而現在，她就在眼前。蒼白而豐滿的臉，溫柔又敏銳，現在他看出來了，她的眼充滿慈愛溫暖的光。他沒有遲疑，緊緊抓著手中的PCHome，讓她能認出來。這也許不是愛，而是比愛更珍貴，更稀有的友情，他將會很感激，而且會永遠記住。

　

他挺起胸膛，打了招呼，把雜誌秀給女人看，雖然他鼓起勇氣說話，但內心仍被失望的苦澀煩惱。「請問．．．您是曉月吧？很高興見到您，我．．．可以帶您去看夕陽了嗎？」女人的臉，開懷的笑了起來：[帥哥，我不知道到底是怎樣一回事，」她回答，「那個穿T恤的女孩，就是剛剛走在我前面的那一位，在飛機上坐我隔壁。請我把眼鏡戴在頭上，她說如果你邀我看夕陽，我就告訴你，她在機場的黎明書局等你。」

Kotara~ Miss our last bus

Kotara is a GREAT place. It has warehouses around the area as well as a west field mall. The mall is soooooo much better than Charlestown square. I seriously don't think Charlestown square is that big. West Field mall is even bigger!! 5 of us, Ooi Min ,Sze Yee, Wen Ya, Hock Luck and I went together right after our NUSA free lunch. However, we splitted into 2 groups since we were shopping different things. Ooi Min and Sze Yee went back early while the 3 of us continue wander about that 陌生的 place.
Wen Ya, Hock Luck and I actually missed the last 225 bus back. Thank god we still can go back by bus interchange - 224 to John Hunter Hospital and 226 back to uni. We were crapping around all the time, enjoying this shopping Thursday. ^^
Great to have them with me, especially Wen Ya who is always a 開心果, and Hock Luck who did most of the "carrying" jobs. Hahaha....

OMG!! I can't believe that I have almost 12 lectures to catch up!! The test is tomorrow. Most of the biomedic students skipped the afternoon lectures today!?! WHAT AM I DOING??? Why am I not studying??? Why didn't I skip lectures like what others did?
I have no idea what makes me think that attending lectures is more important than studying for a test which consist of 15% from the finals.
Perhaps, it's a habit. I cross my heart to announce to the whole world that I've never skipped a class just for some "mo liew" reason. (I don't speak cantonese!)
I was thinking skipping lectures to study for a test do no good anyway. You cannot guarantee that you will score 100% for your test. Moreover, you missed a lecture. YOU MIGHT MISS A VERY VERY IMPORTANT LECTURE!!
Anyway, I'm still here blogging because I've just managed to finish the embryo development week 1~38 and I guess I need a rest.
I shall continue studying CNS and Spinal Cord development after this. =)

After reading Serene's Blog, I have a feeling of writing a list for myself too.
Anywayz, all girls have the right to dream & I am one of them since I'm another single girl reaching 20. LOLz!!!
Perfect guys might not exist... In fact, "do not" exist. I'm not being bias or sexist.
Many people must have complained that God is unfair. However, he loves us all the same. Never doubt him.
Obviously, if perfect guys do not exist, there won't be any perfect women too!
In my own religion, we believe that all human beings are borned incomplete. We are then completed when we find another half. That is why we kept on meeting & making new friends, involving in BGR, suffering from the heartbreaking break-ups. However, thinking on the bright side, God is giving us chance to learn how to pick ourselves up when we fall down, learn from the mistakes we made. Maybe He wanted us to meet a few wrong ones before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.

Heh.. enough of those grandfather stories...

So, 10 things I want in a guy:

1) Gentlemen characteristic. This is a MUST!!!

2) He must be hardworking. At least know what he wants and work hard to fulfil his dreams and meet his goals.

3) He should be someone who is willing to help out with the chores.

4) He should be someone who I can depend on, trust and willing to listen to all my fuss - caring.

5) He should be someone who can point out my mistakes and tell me in a polite way.

6) Height? LOLZz!! 4 inches taller than me? Neh, height does not really matter but preferably taller than me. =p

7) He has to be a tidy and organised person. At least knows how to make beds when he wakes up in the morning.

8) He MUST NOT drink (perhaps not too much) or smoke ( this is definitely a BIG CROSS).

9) Appearance? Someone who looks like David please. =x Oh well, he has to be at least someone who put some effort in dressing himself, presentable.

10) Chinese.

Regarding criteria number 10, does not indicate that I'm racist...

It was a Saturday morning. I woke up early to get ready for our planned trip to Sydney.
Yuen Kit jie jie told us to get ready by 8.45 so that we can leave hopefully by 9. However, we waited and waited till nearly 10.00. Sigh... Typically Malaysians... In fact typically Chinese. Not just Malaysians; Taiwanese, Chinese, Singaporeans... Anywayz, as long as that's a Chinese, they are never punctual.
I overheard that Yuen Kit told us to get ready by 8.45 was because of considering the "non-punctual" Chinese culture but she didn't know that we are actually VERY PUNCTUAL.
*sigh* We left late and obviously arrived late.
It was a tiring trip as we walked the whole day. Firstly, the factory outlet. Secondly, Dim Sum lunch on the 2nd floor of Market City. Next, Paddy's Market. Then, Opera House. Finally, Darling Harbour.
I seriously LOVE Sydney alot!!
Especially the shop - Miracle.
It is REALLY a miracle because it opened till midnight and they sell Asian stuff from Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and so on.
The trip was somehow off-beat but we still enjoyed it.

Dai Lou's Surprise Party

It was Dai Lou's (which means elder brother in cantonese) Birthday on the 4th of March.
The 4 Barahinebans, 8 Morpeths and 3 Allowahs decided to organise a surprise party for him. Of course in secret! However, we have to give credits to 1 Edwards Hall - Emmerie who was having a high fever on the night before.
Late at night on the 3rd of March, Jesselyn and I paid a visit at Emmerie's place to check on her as well as using her oven for Dai Lou's Brownies.
We were very excited as our brownies turned out brilliant!!
The following morning I woke up early to get my "pearls" prepared as dessert for the party. We walked all the way to Morpeth Road carrying our prepared food that late evening and sneaked in from the back door.
Everything went fine when suddenly dai lou came upstairs without being blind-folded.
NOOoooooOooo!! HOWEVER... HE DIDN'T FIND OUT!! *phew*
When it was time for dinner, sister-in-law brought him up blind-folded.
AND......

*SURPRISE*!!!!!!!!
*HAPPY BIRTHDAY*!!!!!!!!!!

OMG~~~ He was speechless...
He wasn't aware of us sneaking in and he did not expect us to be there...
Anyway, the party went on well. Everyone was happy with the food, especially sister-in-law's Tom Yam and the 3 great cooks' Pasta.
Not to forget, Serene and Jun Shi's potato salad! =)
It was a great night...
