Random Post

Hope it's not too late to say this...
  1. Thanks Pak Soon for the laptop when there wasn't any free computer in AIC, and I gotta rush 12 portfolios which weres dued the following day.
  2. Thanks Pak Soon again for accompanying me until late at night in AIC. (Well, the "life" of his laptop is in my hands)
  3. Thanks Pak Soon once more for volunteering to send me back late at night. REAL late... Imagine from AIC to Bara - 15 minutes, and from Bara back to Birminghan - another 30 minutes.
  4. Thanks Hock Luck for accompanying me back to Bara late at night and insisted on sending me back to Bara entrance.
  5. Thanks Hock Luck again for some of his help in the portfolios.
  6. Sorry Pak Soon for making him waste the whole evening just to accompany me till I'm done with the work.
  7. Sorry Pak Soon for dominating his laptop.
  8. Sorry Pak Soon for making him watch Youtube to kill time, instead of letting him go back to study for exams.
  9. Thanks Tiong Sun for his patience in teaching me a lot of stuff!
  10. Before I end this, thanks Jesselyn for her concern when I was in AIC.
*Muackz*

  • Heavy hail shower today!
  • Many leaves were killed...
  • Many cars were dented...
  • Thanks to myself so that Lin Kooi didn't get caught under the shower. Why? If I dragged another 5 mins of his time... he won't be so lucky anymore... XD!!
  • All the cleaners will have a hard time cleaning up...
  • Hope all the spider-webs are destroyed!
  • AND Happy Halloweeeeeeeeeen!!

Blood Donation

3 months after the last blood donation campaign, it is finally BACK! Starting from today... Still remembered what had happened last time? Haha... yeapz there you go!

Anyway, today I finally handed in my "proof" being eligible for donation. Of course I was kinda excited but nervous at the same time. The nurse first counselled me with the questionnaire. After telling her I had diarrhoea past week, she straight away said, "You cannot donate today!"

*Faint*!!

She wanted to know the precise date, so... I cracked my head and think back. As you know, we have this portfolio and assignment thing due today as well, which means I've been under piles of books for so long! How would I remember!?! However, after my "supernatural-powered-memory" overtook my brain, I realised I was wrong. It wasn't the past week, but the past fortnight.

Rightz! I'm in good condition to donate! *chuckles*

First, she did an iron concentration test by pricking a needle into my middle finger. That was seriously an "Ouch"! I wasn't prepared for that! Next, the blood was filled into a glass slide kinda stuff and slotted into a machine. Well, I assumed it was a mini spectrophotometer for measuring the optical density. The results turned out to be fine - 135. I'm sure that it is in the "normal" normal range, not the "low" normal range. (Click here for my blood test result) A great increase from 27 to 135!! That is a big achievement! The doctor actually presribed me with Ferratin supplement tablets but an alternate method can be solved, which is by eating more red meat. In fact, I did not take any of her advices. I just had more red bean soup, red date soup, chinese herbal chicken soup... all those so-called 補血 ("restore blood" in direct word translation) goodies or another name - "girl's soup".

Jess was already lying on the seat when I walked out of the counselling cubical.

There you go... that's Jess.

Soon, it was my turn.

=)

I was very nervous... Can't imagine how thick the needle was until my nurse, Aletta, came to me, and showed that to me. She is extremely friendly. Before she insert the needle into one of the cubital fossa veins, she comforted me by saying, "Don't worry, it's not gonna hurt much. You might feel a sting in the beginning, but the pain would go off after half a minute or so."
I showed fear on my face.
"Oh Dar, you don't have to do it you know? It's alright if you want to back out now."
"No worries, I can do it." I answered with confidence.
"Are you sure you wanna do this?"
"Yes!" firmly, I said.
So, there I go... seeing such a thick needle going through my thin skin, into my veins, with some leakage of blood... (Oh clarify something: I didn't see the process of the needle going in but I saw the needle sticking inside my cubital fossa while donating. I never dare to see how it went in actually.) My nurse was being so nice, asking all sort of questions like are you feeling alright? Do you need more water? Do you want any juices? Of course, we chatted about "Biomedical Science", which she thinks that it's a difficult course. In fact, all the nurses there are extremely friendly. Although both Jess and I were the last two donors, they were very patient, even when they were very busy cleaning up. After 10 minutes or so... the whole process ended. They did not allow us to leave until they said so, hence there we were, chatting with the nurses again.

My 470cc of blood. Where's the other 30cc? They are in 3 separate tubes, which are for blood analysis.

Wanna know how Jess ended up?

She donated 1L of blood...

LoL!! Do you think it's possible? *Sigh*
This time, it's her turn to have some trouble. The nurse that helped her with the donation did not insert the needle into the correct position, therefore, another nurse tried the other arm. It was running perfectly fine until when her blood stopped flowing out. It's pretty weird so Aletta went to help. Unfortunately, it wasn't in good condition still. They finally gave up and declare an end to her donation. I was told by Aletta that the pitiful amount of blood from her will be used in experiments such as vaccination, immunisation, blood analysis, those kind of stuff we are learning now in HUBS2601. So, Jess, your blood is still in good use!! You are still doing something for the society!!

A few pounds more...

I haven't been weighing myself for a couple of months. Hmm, actually more than a couple of. Opened up my wardrobe, scanning through whatever I have inside, my "101"th pair of jeans caught into my eyes. *close eyes*
"uh uh uh, no no no! I'm not gonna wear that... Jeans are just WAY too honest!"
Browsing through my remaining pants, I spotted the pink colour one I bought with Serene and Jun Shi last September. Oh well, since I haven't been wearing this for a long time... "You are THE ONE!" *Grabbed*

OMG!! I can BEARLY FIT into it! NOooooooooo!! I can feel my gluteus maximus squeezing into the pitifully small space. *faint* What should I do?? *scream* Bloody thick layer of adipose tissue building up here and there. Dang! I...was...struggling...in...putting...it...on!! If I can recall, the waist and buttock measurement of this pair of pants were initially slightly bigger, but it's fitting JUST RIGHT NOW!! *double faint*

I don't know whether I should be happy or sad! Happy for "fitting just right"? Sad for gaining extra adipose tissue around to make it fit?? *sigh* I think I have to go on a fruit & vege diet starting from tomorrow... err... no no no... starting on Saturday. (Long Story)

After 3 hours straight of lectures, my stomach was already growling like a hunger tiger. I don't usually buy food from the Union, however, due to the 11-day-no-grocery and the emptiness of my fridge, I did not prepare any lunch for today. Thinking of what to eat, Brendan's finished Subway wrapper was waving at me. OMG! SUBWAY!! Recalling Dai Lou's Blog I read this morning all about Subway PLUS HL was dreaming of it too, we went to collect coupon from Jesselyn which buying one foot long and a large drink allows us to get another foot long for free!

Rightz, so what have we ordered? I ordered a foot long sweet onion chicken teriyaki while HL ordered a foot long chicken fillet. As we can choose our own vege to add into our subs, greedy me wanted everything except for black olives. However, they have already added in before I get the chance to say "no black olives please~", so I have no choice but to dig them out later. Both foot-long subs were securely "fastened" onto my hands while HL managed the drinks. "No coke please, later I'll get hyper.." *Heh*

Back to our seats where all the rest were, the aroma of our subs were already overwhelming our table. Just then, Dai Lou suggested on having both of us exchanging 6 inches of our subs with each other (At least we get to eat different flavours, which I never thought of). Haha.. before I forget, I dug out the black olives. Surprisingly, sis-in-law is a black-olive-lover, so instead of wasting them, each of them went into her stomach.

Finally took my first bite~ I can fill it going through my throat, filling my empty stomach. My mouth was filled with the scrumptious subs and the aroma sustained for hours! One word "DIVINE"!

What about DIET-ing? Aiya~ Starting on Saturday as I've mentioned. Today doesn't count! Eat first, fill tummy first!!

This is actually the 2nd "6-inch-sub" - Chicken Teriyaki

Kinda sad for realising not taking any photos for my 1st "6-inch-sub" - Chicken Fillet

Mmmm~~ Irresistible

Cindy: Mmm... Yum yum tomato~~
HL: OMG!! I dropped the best part! TOMATO!!

Hahaha.. need not to say, I'm a tomato-lover.

Some internal issues

Today, I heard something "interesting" from Hiroko. She told me that she skipped class because she was having a conflict with her classmates and her lecturer. What actually happened was that one of her Chinese (China Chinese) classmates yelled out, "F*** Off Japanese!" right in front of her face yet her lecturer didn't do anything!?! What kind of lecturer is this? And what on earth DO you Chinese think that you are superior over?

Oh, before I continue, I know that I'll get bombed if some "bei song" Chinese reads this but.... Quote from Pak Soon, "You think I care ah?" (Copyright again)

Being a Chinese, I feel so ashamed for such behaviour! OR Maybe I should think in this way and say, "Thank god! I'm Chinese but NOT a China Chinese. Why should I give a damn to what you guys did in the angmou's territory?" *roll eyes*

For heaven's sake, please be more considerate for the other non-China Chineses wouldya? You China Chineses don't want face, we non-China Chineses still wants face! Only low-standard people will use such low-class phrase such as "F*** Off"! Is China not a civilised country? Geez! If so, please act more civilised mind ya?

Of course, I'm not referring to all China Chineses. Just talking about some LOW people like those in Hiroko's class and this post is directing to them. What makes you think that YOU China Chineses are superior over others? Bigger country? Better economy? More civilised? More developed? More well-mannered? You pathetic fellows, don't make me puke alright!

The first thing I wanna complain is the lousy-to-the-max-acer-laptop! Come on! I know it's a Taiwan Brand, but it's assembled in China for your information! Suppose to feel proud you see, but you've gotten the wrong idea! I can hear thousands of complaints regarding this brand. For god sake, what GREAT job have YOU Chinese done? Can't even assemble something right is it? Want proof? I'm using one lousy acer laptop, so is my roommate.

The second thing! Well-mannered? *Puke* Using such phrase, you called that well-mannered? Moreover, cutting queues tactic... Please refer to Kenny Sia's Blog.

Oh yea, "F*** Off Japanese" as you've said. Let see what will happen if there wasn't any interaction between Japanese companies and the Chinese companies. I bet your economy will fall all the way straight to the 18th floor of hell.

Gratitude and Apology to my dear dear

There isn't any interesting things to blog recently. Basically, everyday is showered with work, work and MORE work! The weather is still in crazy mode, quite windy and cold today. Have no clue when it will shoot up to 36 degrees again. *sigh*
Feel quite stressed recently. Thanks to my dear dear, accompanying me the whole evening yesterday and today. It's really hard to get sometime just with him ALONE. You know, somewhere just you and him, and won't cause any troubles to others, or disturb them... *Sigh* Piano Room is closed during weekends so it's impossible for us to go there and spend our time together - or shall I say date there! *Hahaha*

I think I'm really terrible!! I would only remember him when I'm stressed, I would only seek for him when I'm down...

I'm sorry! *bow*
My Dear~~~ Flute!*Muackz*

What were you guys thinking? Hahaha...

Too little time yet so much to do!!

Oh gosh! Running out of time!! Like Pak Soon's nick "Too little time, yet too many things to do. " (Something like that)
How I wish I could travel back to the past and give that Cindy a few slaps for slacking all these while...
*slap slap*
"Cindy! Can you work harder?? Quit sleeping for more than 10 hours a day!! Are you crazy? Sleep so much for WHAT!?! Totally waste of time. Eat so much chocolate, eat so much chips, eat so much cakes, eat so much of these and that, yet do NO exercises!?! You wanna put on weight is it?? Always say 'I'm Fat, I'm Fat' but never cut down on those junk food! How to lose weight? Or at least maintain it!! NO exercise! How unhealthy!! You pathetic lass, where's your spirit of work-outs!!! Everyday stare in front of the laptop! Do what!?! Finger exercise? Huh? Can't hear you! ASSIGNMENT? Assignment your head! For goodness sake, Youtub-ing then say so! Talk so much! Everyday sit there, no wonder getting a tube around your waist!"

OMG!! Every single word is like a dagger. Stab hardly and deeply into me! Not to the past me, but to the PRESENT me! Exams coming in around 18 days? Less than 3 weeks!?! No preparation? I think I can go die! Hang myself!

Cindy OUT!

Crazy Weather

36oC!! What?? 36oC!! *Rub eyes*
OMG!!
36oC!! No kidding!! It was 36oC yesterday...
Telling Tiong Sun that I'm gonna visit him in his "1st home", I left Bara at, let see, 3pm?
Looking out of my door, the sun was shining brightly. Put my cap on and off I went.
Oh, not to forget, SUN BLOCK! *heh*
"First, gotta dump garbbage!" I told myself.
Running up to level 2, *tong* *tong* 2 garbbage bags were slotted into the bin with ~Skills~
"OMG, it's SUPER hot!!" Hence, I ran back to my room to get an umbrella.
You know, sunburn phobia... I walked under the sun with a thin jacket, and I'm sure those who saw me on my way to Tiong Sun's "1st home" will think that I'm a weirdo...
JACKET? CAP? & AN UMBRELLA??? Where's this alien from!?!?!

Anyway, I reached Auchmuty with whole body sweat... There I started with my whatsoever work when suddenly, someone familiar caught my eyes! PAK SOON!?!
Hmm.. what is Pak Soon doing at the biomedicine department? Anyhow, I just greeted him and continue with my work...
Being soOooo nice, he offered to walk back with me...
Err.. actually I was the one asking when he was going back so that we can walk back together... *hahahaha*
So.. yea... he waited for me until 8.30pm...
I have to clarify that it is HIS fault!! He distracted me for half an hour!! And I couldn't get any work done!! =p
Oh, what about Tiong Sun? As usual, he stayed back...
Whatever happened after that wasn't that important. So, I'm gonna continue with today's WEATHER!!

Woke up by this watery thingy from my nose...
Bad phenomenom...
Stuck my index finger to my nose to find that it's BLEEDING!!
Darn!
Must be Heat stroke!! Yea... according to Dai Lou's blog, HL said it's heat stroke
NOT heat shock!! according to sis-in-law, she was the one saying "Heat stroke"... Hahaha... I thought it was Heat shock too! XD!!
Of course first reaction is to grab a piece of tissue paper to block the leakage...
After a while, it seemed that the blood continued to flow like tap water, so I rushed to the bathroom and changed a few pieces of clean tissue paper, grabbed a bottle of icy cold water from the fridge and bottoms up! Not to forget, rinsing my "throat" with the "liang cha" that Tiong Sun gave. A while later, thankfully, it stopped bleeding.
Gotta wake up early today too as I've already promised Jesselyn to go to this Chinese church with her. Met a lot of new nice people... this pastor from Hong Kong who can speak fluent Cantonese (DUH!), English maybe, OK OK Mandarin and a bit of MALAY!!

Went to Tiong Sun's "1st home" again.. quite early this time... and I bet he hasn't even waken up yet!! *Hahahaha* Met Pak Soon by chance once more, and this time being so nice, he even called me whether wanna walk home together!! *touched*
He gotta walk back to Birminghan you know... which is perhaps 30 minutes walk from my place. Moreover, it's gonna rain!! Oh yea, have I mentioned about the weather today?? It's SUPER DUPER windy and the temperature is sooo low!! It doesn't even hit 20oC!! CRAZY Newcastle weather!! 36oC the previous day and not even 20oC today! No wonder I get this CRAZY sore throat, blocked nose and what else NOSE BLEEDING!!

Beach Day and BBQ Night (Interlude)

Beach Day and BBQ Night on 10th of October! Celebrating anything? Neh~ Nothing, although it's the National Day of Taiwan. Come on, we are in Australia and 98% of my friends here are Malaysians! Haha... Celebrate Malaysia Merdeka but not celebrating for my own country...? What a shame!

To compensate this ~

The National Anthem of the Republic of China

三民主義,吾黨所宗,以建民國,以進大同。
咨爾多士,為民前鋒;夙夜匪懈,主義是從。
矢勤矢勇,必信必忠;一心一德,貫徹始終。

The lyrics is in classical Chinese so I'm not surprise if those who knew Chinese yet don't understand what it means.

Anthem of the Flag

Another classical Chinese lyrics but is easier to understand than the National Anthem.

Unfortunately, this is the best I could find in Youtube...

The REAL Beach Day and BBQ Night post will be out when I get the photos from sis-in-law!

Silent Hill

Watched this movie with Dai Lou, sis-in-law and HL in Morpeth Room 1, using Dai Lou's ASUS laptop, eating mooncake and chinese tea from Malaysia on the 7th or should I say during the early hours on the 8th. According to Dai Lou, Silent Hill is a movie adapted from a game...

It begins with a girl called Sharon having nightmares and calls out for "Silent Hill" while sleep walking. Rose, Sharon's mother, brought her to the town thinking that it might help. However, an accident caused them to be separated. Loving the daughter so much, Rose set out to find her daughter in the ghostly town.

Well, I'm not gonna spoil the movie this time (Since I've already spoiled 2 nice movies previously!!). Quite a lot of parts in this movie don't make sense at all! Still like "The Omen" more~ one of the best thrillers this year I suppose.

The Night is still young

It is was Mooncake festival. We did not organise a party or dinner yet we had our own entertainments - MOVIES! Yea! Movies again!!
We started with LOST season 3 episode 1. After a few months of patient waiting, it is finally out. And thanks to HL who downloaded it.

Next programme... HEROES!! Yay~ Continue from where we stopped the previous day - Season 1 episode 2! Those "Heroes" seriously have *Chun* powers.

1) Peter (nurse) - He can FLY~
2) Nathan (Peter's brother) - He can FLY too!!
3) Claire (highschool cheerleader) - She's invincible! Indestructible.
4) Niki (jobless mother) - She's dangerous! Her mirror image has a secret.
5) Isaac (artist) - He can paint the future!
6) Greg (policeman) - He can read people's mind. Hear people's thoughts!
7) Hiro (Japanese officeman) - He can bend time and spaces.

That is not just all. Our spotlight of the night --> The Omen (2006)

This is a remake of The Omen: 666 in 1976. Talking about a senior diplomat in the United States federal government, Robert, "adopting" a baby boy borned on the same day as his so-called stillbirth son. His wife Katherine did not know that her child has died and both of them raised the child as their own.

Robert's career ascends over the course of the next five years. He was promoted to the ambassador from a deputy ambassador after the ambassador died at 6:06:06. This is when disturbing events started revolving around their family. First, was the son, Damien's nanny hanging herself during his 5th birthday party. Then was the weird reactions from Damien when they were driving through the church. Moreover, a series of weird photographs were taken by a photographer, Keith.

Having become suspicious (after Father Brennan's warning came true), Robert and Keith went in search of Damien's real mother who was in fact a jackal and discovered that his real son was murdered.

To cut it short, his 2nd unborned child was killed when Katherine was pushed down the balcony. Katherine was then murdered by the mysterious evil nanny. Robert was then convinced that Damien is the root of the accidents and decided to kill him in a church by stabbing him with seven Daggers of Meggido. Unfortunately, his plan had failed and he was being shot to death by the command team.

OMG OMG!! Can you believe that they let the devil win!?! How could they!!! *Sigh*

Well well well, after all these shows, it was already 4am.
Sleepy anyone? NOOOOO!
We had our mooncakes and chinese tea...
Shall we continue with cards? Yessssss!!
Rightz, "chor dai di" loR!!
Can you imagine the card game lasted the whole morning, until almost 12pm!! Let's do a simple math calculation.
12pm - 5am = ??
7 HOURS! 7 freaking HOURS of chor dai di!!
Yeapz! Mutants!
Maybe they should recruit us for the movie X-men 4 or Fantastic 4. *Hahahaha*

X-men: The Last Stand

Movie Night! This is actually continuous with the previous post...
Right after Dai Lou acheived his "high scores", HL was already waiting in Room 1 to start the movie. We will be watching X-men 3 - The Last Stand!! Supposingly, HL wanted to watch it last night (Torturing... I know...), but because of some reasons (actually one reason only), it has been postponed to today. Simply because I wanna watch too!! Sorry sorry... very *thick skin*. Wanted him them to wait for me, as if I were the boss. Nevertheless, being so nice, they DID keep the movie on hold. (on Hold shelf *heh*)

Actually, what we started was Heroes. It's a new series that HL recently downloaded. Talking about mutants? Or should I call them supernatural! =p
A pretty new set of series ~ Season 1 episode 1. (For your information, there are only episode 1 and 2 available so far. Now you can imagine how new this series is...)
Comments on Heroes? One word - *chun*

Ok ok... Spotlight of tonight --> X-men: The Last Stand
*Ta-da*

Mutants get to have cures!?! Waa!!

Ok ok... it started with a pharmaceutical company called Worthington Labs developed an inoculation to suppress the X-gene that gives mutants their powers. Of course, some are looking forward for the cure, while some reject. In response to the news, Magneto raised an army wanting to destroy the cures. Oh yea, Professor X turned into bits and pieces of "molecules"? "particles"? by Jean's power. To make it simple, he died.

After his death, the X-Men regroup and confront Magneto's army which is attacking the Waorthinton Lab. During the fight, Beast injects Magneto with the cure (4 freaking SHOTS!!), nullifying his mutant powers.

Did I mention that Jean was resurrected? Well, she revived but was not herself anymore. At least not when "Phoenix" overtake her. Not to spoil the movie if you haven't watched yet (er.. spoiled already la... but just lazy to go into details), Jean was killed by Wolverine finally. Haha.. very brief I know.

Hexic Maniac

It's not a double post! Yea, Hexic again!
Hexic Hexic Hexic Maniac! *heh*
Here I am back to Morpeth from Bara.
When I first step into Room 1, two maniacs were already "infatuated" with it!
No no no~ Not Dai Lou and Hock Luck. It was HL and sis-in-law.
Both of them were like competing against each other's score.
Anyhow, I'm gonna jump straight into the main point.
Dai Lou and sis-in-law went Jesmond, leaving HL & I with HEXIC!
Well, you know... maniacs are maniacs.
Stare "fiercely" at the screen, reacts when things aren't going as what we expected. A faulty step would make me moan and curdle on sis-in-law's "Pork Luck". After a couple of games, literally "couple" - 2 games...

HL: Ooo.. I beat Yu Wooi's highest score.
Staring at the screen --> 247k
Me: Waa.. (*Fly* to HL's screen, dumping my hexic game aside)
Me: OMG!! 2 Black Pearls!! Pro~!!!
HL: *laughs*
Me: Maybe you can reach 300k.
HL: *laughs* No la..
Me: Ok ok, continue!

Don't know how long the time has passed...
HL: Oh no! Dying. Bomb.
Me: (*Fly* there again) Ooo...
HL: Somemore don't have the same colour around. *Sigh*
Me: Oh, last step already.
HL: *Hmm* Should I gamble or should I just combine the stars?
Me: Combine combine!
HL: But if combine stars, sure lose!
Me: Combine combine!
HL: *Think* *click*

~ Ooohooo!! brick of the same colour dropped down! *Game continues* ~

Hahaha!! If only that had happened. He decided to combine the stars instead of gambling. Game Over with score of 310k. He topped my list, kicking sis-in-law and dai lou's name down one rank. Doesn't affect me though. *chuckles*

There we continued Hexic. This time I closed sis-in-law's account and log onto mine. The first attempted was only 115k. Quite a disappointing score actually. In fact, 115k can be classified as *not bad*, yet I'm not satisfied. Why?

Fritz - 234k
Yu Wooi - 238k
Hock Luck - 310k

With that scores on my list, can I still say 115k as *NOT BAD*??
Very *kiasu*! Must at least achieve 200k! (My highest score was only 171k)

*Continue with 2nd attempt*
Half way playing, dai lou and sis-in-law came back with 2 boxes of pizzas! So, Hexic was put aside first.

*skip skip the pizza dinner part...*

After pizza-ing, continue with Hexic...

*click click click*
Me: Yay! 2 Black Pearls!! 200k!!
HL: *laughs*

*click click click*
Meanwhile Fritz walked in...
Me: Dai Lou, Dai Lou!! I got 2 Black Pearls.
Fritz: Waa.. what's your score?
Me: 230k. But I don't think can beat your score. I think I'm dying soon.
Fritz: Ohh...
*continue clicking*
Me: Ooo... I beat Yu Wooi's score!!
HL: *laughs* <-- This HL ah.. (Scroll up and see! All *laughs*)
*click click click* I was kinda nervous too, especially when a bomb drops down in a sudden. Furthermore, sis-in-law was waiting for her laptop (I was using hers at that time). Anyway... My final score was - 317k!! ~ Oohooo!! I topped my list! I topped my list! Is this a dream come true kinda stuff? ~ *slap slap* wake up Cindy!! It's 307k NOT 317k! Oops!! Dang! 3k more to top my list!! *Sigh*

And now, I've been promoted to 2nd place of my list.

Updated List
Hock Luck - 310k
Hsin Yi (Meeeee!!) - 307k
Yu Wooi - 238k
Fritz - 234k

*Hehehe*

Guess what? I'm sitting next to Dai Lou and sis-in-law, who were trying to break our records... *Hahaha*

Latest Update!!

After a few attempts... Dai Lou still failed to beat our scores. Sis-in-law meanwhile broke her record and shot up to 250k. Kiasu Dai Lou didn't want to be the last among the 4 of us...
1st attempt - failed
2nd attempt - failed
3rd attempt - failed
Until the 4th attempt... Something caught into our eyes...
He formed a 2nd Black Pearl in level 7 when his score was like 260k!! Which means an addition of 70k to his score --> 330k!!! Beat my score, beat HL's score.
This continued on and on... until I told HL that Dai Lou has already reached "347k"... Dai Lou received a message from him right after...
HL: Heard from Cindy that you scored 347k
Fritz: haha

Hexic Maniac

Hexic is a msn game which we have to arrange at least 3 of the same kind into a pyramid to gain points. There are many different arrangements for bonus.
1) Arrange a combination of "bricks" + "bricks" with stars into a pyramid.
2) Arrange "bricks" with stars into a pyramid.
3) Arrange a combination of "brick" + "brick" with star + bomb of the same colour.
4) Arrange the "bricks" into a hexagon to gain a "star".
5) Arrange the "stars" into a hexagon to gain a "black pearl".
6) Arrange the "black pearls" into a pyramid to gain a "cluster".
7) Arrange the "black pearls" into a hexagon to gain a ??? <-- is there such a thing? How to end this game? 1) Did not remove the bomb in given steps --> lost
2) Form a black pearl in level 7 (if not mistaken) --> victory?
3) Form cluster in level 7 (for sure) --> victory!

By the way, playing this game requires another person to accept your invitation...
Last night, sis-in-law got "BLACK PEARLS"!! OMG! Her scores shot up to 238k!! Beat Dai Lou's high score - 234k. Gosh, their scores are so far away from me. I can bearly get 80k!! Anyway, this is how I spend my evening - Hexic!

While playing, I was calling them - Morpeth Room 1 Residents - crazy! 3 of them are SUPERB!! If not mistaken, before yesterday, Rank 1 was Dai Lou with 234k. Rank 2 was HL with 195k. Sis-in-law wasn't even in the Top 3 (from my list)!! As for me, I was far far below the list. Well, there are changes today! *hehehe*

Rank 1 - Yu Wooi ~ 238k
Rank 2 - Fritz ~ 234k
Rank 3 - Hock Luck ~ 195k
And guess what?
Rank 4 - Hsin Yi (That's meeeeee!!) ~ 169k

I finally got into Top 5!!! Top 5 from my list at least! v^-^v

What actually happened - I GOT A BLACK PEARL TOO!! Nearly gotten two but due to a stupid bomb, made me sacrificed my arrangement. It's kinda sad when you lack of one more step to clear the bomb. =(

My First Black Pearl!!

My Final Results...

This is another achievement of mine! Celebrations!! *Playing Firework*

100th

As the title stated "100th". My 100th post. Well, this is quite a thing for me to achieve. You know, I'm not an "everyday-blogger". Just a part-timer.

So, our 2 weeks of study leave has begun but it seemed that it's more like holiday mood to me. Bara is quiet. Shook Hui and Tian Mun went down to Melbourne. Serene and Jun Shi are far far away for their placement. Even the spotlight of Bara - Jesselyn, went "donno-wat-harbour" with Yuen Kit. Basically, I'm left alone again!

Handphone charger "rosak" (Means spoiled)!! Show off a bit of my Malay. This is one of the few words that I know. *hehehe* Somehow think that rosak sounds nicer than spoiled.
No handphone in Australia = lost in contact with the outside world.
No laptop (internet) = die
That means I have to either find someone using the same charger or else... "生不如死"
Those using Sony Ericsson NEW MODEL are not around. Yea, the newer model has a different charger. ("Those" referring to Shook Hui, Kim Fei, Edison...)
Thankfully, my saviour is still around.
Proudly present my saviour *Drumming*

"Tay Hock Luck!!"

Rightz... so how am I gonna get it from him, that's a question. This solution was suggested by Dai Lou. He They (the Morpeth Room 1 residents) invited me over for a couple of days, so that I could charge my phone and won't be alone. How thoughtful!!! *touched*

Hence, once again, I'm holiday-ing at Morpeth...
